Christopher paul

Director at Large (Operations & Systems)

Christopher Paul is an operations leader, food entrepreneur, and community wealth builder whose career intersects food, systems, and people. As a partner of Herban Quality Eats, a Best of Philly-nominated fast-casual concept, Everything We Eat, LLC, and Lakay PHL — a Haitian cuisine concept rooted in culture and authenticity — Christopher has spent over a decade building food businesses that center community and sustainability across several ventures and micro-brands.

His consulting background includes food safety, ServSafe instruction, large-scale production and catering, research & development, and hands-on support helping entrepreneurs across multiple cities launch and grow their businesses — work that has deepened his understanding of what it takes to build durable, community-rooted enterprises.

Christopher leads operations and people at MIA Retail Systems, Inc., a vertically integrated hemp enterprise based in Miami spanning retail, manufacturing, wholesale, and e-commerce platforms including DestinoFarms.com and CBD.Co. He applies EOS methodology to build high-performance teams in complex and regulated environments.

His community wealth building work includes serving as former Program Director at Urbane's Flatbush Central, where he developed entrepreneurial curriculum for neighborhood food startups, provided technical assistance on business development and compliance, and led multiple cohorts through the Community Business Academy in partnership with Rising Tide Capital. He most recently instructed the Kauffman FastTrac GrowthVenture program through NYC's Department of Small Business Services and Progress Playbook. He holds a B.S. in Culinary Arts with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Drexel University and serves on the Board of Advisors for Kindred Bakery BK, a nonprofit providing culinary training for marginalized youth and young adults with disabilities.

Christopher joins Grown in Haiti's Board of Directors as a Director at Large, bringing strategic guidance on operations, program design, compliance, and sustainable business development — grounded in a career built around community wealth building, food sovereignty, and regenerative systems.
